4 CAKE RECIPES WITH SPINACH

1. CAKE WITH SPINACH

If you do not want a different recipe, in this option use-if the common ingredients, such as sunflower oil, wheat flour and sugar.

– Ingredients –

  • 4 eggs medium (gems and clear separate)
  • 150 g of fresh spinach (only the leaves)
  • 275 g of brown sugar
  • 1,25 dl of sunflower oil
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 level tablespoon baking powder
  • Powdered sugar for dusting at the end

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease well with butter and sprinkle with flour a round shape with the hole.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg whites and set aside.
  3. Place the egg yolks, the oil and the leaves of spinach in a glass blender or in a food processor, and grind everything very well. Add the sugar and grind some more.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the sifted flour with the yeast, mixing well with a spatula or wooden spoon until you don’t see lumps.
  5. Involves carefully the egg whites and pour the batter to the form.
  6. Bake in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until the cake is cooked through (check with the test of the toothpick).
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool a little before desenformar, placing it on top of a metal grid.
  8. Unmold and sprinkle the surface with powdered sugar.

2. CAKE WITH SPINACH AND MINT VEGAN

Vegetarians and vegans can also enjoy a tasty and healthy cake and spinach.

– Ingredients –

  • 3 tablespoons of flaxseed ground
  • 9 tablespoons of water
  • 1 handful of mint
  • 130 g of spinach
  • 130 g of the vegetable oil
  • 200 g sugar yellow
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 250 g of whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Moisturize flaxseed, placing it in a container with water, leaving it to rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
  3. Grease a pan with a little oil and flour.
  4. In a blender grind spinach.
  5. In a bowl place the mint and the spinach crushed.
  6. Add the oil, the sugar, the cinnamon and the flaxseed and mix everything with a mixer or wire whisk.
  7. Add the flour, beat well with a wire whisk.
  8. Add the baking powder and again beat until you get a homogeneous mass.
  9. Place the dough in shape and bake in the oven for 35 minutes.

3. CAKE SPINACH FIT

The dates give a sweet taste to this cake, just the apples with cinnamon. The mass is oats, so you can consume with moderation.

– Ingredients –

  • 100 g of rolled oats
  • 150 g of spinach
  • 3 stewed apples with cinnamon
  • 3 eggs (yolks and clear separate)
  • 60 g of dates
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate
  • Juice of 1 lemon

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Bake the apples (you can also experiment with the apple raw, more mature).
  3. Demolhe the dates, about 10 minutes.
  4. Grind the oatmeal until it is flour. You can also use flour instead of oat flakes. Book.
  5. In a food processor place the spinach, the apples, the egg yolks, the lemon juice and dates and blend until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  6. Mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda to the mixture above.
  7. Gently, fold in the egg whites.
  8. Put in the form of silicone cakes and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes.

4. CAKE WITH SPINACH AND COURGETTE IN THE THERMOMIX WITH CHOCOLATE FROSTING

In this recipe use the courgette in place of the oil. If you do not want to, use 100 ml coconut oil and you have a tasty cake and spinach.

– Ingredients for the dough –

  • 200 g of spinach fresh or frozen
  • 5 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g of flour
  • 100 ml oil or 100 g of courgette
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder for cakes
  • Mint leaves q. b.

– Ingredients for the chocolate frosting –

  • 1 package cream 200 ml
  • 1 tablet of chocolate for cooking 200 g
  • 1 tablespoon margarine

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Place in the cup of the spinach, courgette, mint leaves and program 15 seg./reg. 9.
  3. Add the sugar, the eggs, and schedule 2 min./37 degrees/speed. 4.
  4. Add the flour, the yeast, and set 15 sec./reg. 3.
  5. Place in a crown form 29-cm greased with margarine and sprinkled with flour, bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, make the topping: place the package of cream in the Thermomix and schedule 3 min./70 degrees/speed. 3.
  7. Cut the chocolate and place it in the Thermomix, wait a little bit to soften it and then program 2 min./37 degrees/ speed. 4.
  8. Place the margarine and schedule a few seconds at the same speed and temperature.
  9. Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool and pour the chocolate frosting.
